Mission Statement
It shall be the purpose of ALAS to promote, communicate, educate, and engage the broader Augsburg College and surrounding communities in learning about the Latina/o culture and to encourage awareness and respect for students of Latina/o ancestry, while providing educational opportunities for all people and fomenting the emersion of student members in leadership roles. Our goal is to actively establish collaboration and relationships amongst students and organizations, with an understanding of our values and sense of belonging within the Augsburg and surrounding community.
